Hey there, food lovers! 👋 Cleo here, and today I’m bringing you one of my all-time favorite recipes. If you love the combination of steak and seafood, you’re in for a real treat! This dish is simple to make, yet it looks and tastes like a five-star restaurant meal. Perfect for date nights, special occasions, or even just treating yourself because you deserve it! Let’s dive in! 😍
Ingredients
- 1 bone-in ribeye steak (about 1 inch thick)
- 12 large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter (divided)
- 4 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Lemon wedges (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Season the Steak
Season the steak with salt and pepper on both sides. Don’t be shy with the seasoning—it really brings out the flavor! 🌿
2. Cook the Steak
Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare or to your desired doneness. Remove from skillet and let rest. (Pro tip: Letting the steak rest helps keep it juicy!)
3. Cook the Shrimp
In the same skillet, add 2 tbsp butter and 1 tbsp olive oil. Sauté the shrimp for 2-3 minutes, flipping halfway, until pink and opaque. The aroma is going to be irresistible at this point! 😋
4. Make the Garlic Butter
Add the minced garlic, paprika, and the remaining butter. Stir to combine and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Your kitchen will smell heavenly!
5. Finish the Shrimp
Sprinkle the shrimp with fresh parsley and toss to coat in the garlic butter. Don’t forget to taste-test one (or two) for quality control! 😉
6. Serve
Serve the steak alongside the garlic butter shrimp, garnished with lemon wedges. Snap a pic before you dig in and share it with me—I love seeing your creations! 📸✨
